No. Shipping and Material Handling are not the same thing. Shipping is the transportation of your items from your location to the convention center. You are responsible for hiring a transportation company for shipping your materials. Material Handling is the action of receiving your shipment at the convention center and bringing it to your booth space. Freeman is INTERPHEX’s official contractor and will facilitate your material handling. There is a cost associated with this—called "drayage" and you will receive a drayage bill from Freeman in your booth.
Freeman is the official INTERPHEX contractor and they do offer discounts for exhibitor orders placed on their website. Visit the Exhibitor Manual 2020 Coming Soon. You can create an account with Freeman at: www.freemanco.com
Electricity can be ordered through the Javits Center and there are different levels of electricity offered to fit your needs. Access the electricity order form in the Exhibitor Manual 2021 Coming Soon.
Inside the Exhibitor Manual, you will find a Checklist 2021 Coming Soon, which will provide all of the important due dates.
Drayage is calculated based on the weight of your items and how they are shipped. Login to your Freeman account to access the Freeman Calculator and estimate your costs.
If you need help accessing your Exhibitor Dashboard, please contact Customer Service at 877-232-8845 or 203-840-5646 or email [email protected]. If you have additional questions, contact your Customer Success Manager.

The Exhibitor Move-In hours are coming soon.
This is based on the floorplan. Typically all exhibitors’ crates are returned within 8-hours of show end.
Yes. If these boxes are light enough for a single person to carry into the convention center, you are permitted to carry.
There will be Wi-Fi- available throughout the show Floor for light use. The Wi-Fi does not replace a hardline internet connection. If you need more support, make sure to order a hardline internet connection for your booth. Access the Telephone/Internet order form in the Exhibitor Manual.

Beware of the Expo-Guide
Reed Exhibitions and INTERPHEX do NOT support the Fair Guide — it is NOT affiliated with Reed Exhibitions or INTERPHEX. Please be aware that you may receive solicitations for the Fair Guide from Construct Data, its publisher, which use the name of INTERPHEX – do not be fooled. Construct Data currently operates out of Slovakia (it has previously operated out of Austria and Germany).
Beware of the Expo-Guide
Reed Exhibitions and INTERPHEX also do NOT support the Expo-Guide — it is NOT affiliated with Reed Exhibitions or INTERPHEX. Please be aware that you may receive solicitations for the Expo-Guide from Commercial Online Manuals, its publisher, which use the name of INTERPHEX – again, do not be fooled. The Expo-Guide currently operates out of Mexico.
For further warnings on the Fair Guide and the Expo-Guide, please check out www.stopecg.org (the website was set up originally to deal with the European City Guides, but it now addresses the Fair Guide and Expo-Guide as well as several other similar matters).
And please remember – the only directories and guides affiliated with Reed Exhibitions are those published by Reed Exhibitions, including the official show directories. If you have any doubts about a directory/guide solicitation using the INTERPHEX name (for example, if the solicitation requires payment made to an address in a foreign country), please contact an INTERPHEX 2020 salesperson ASAP.
