Cleaning Cycle Development for Parts Washers

04/03/2019, 2:15 PM - 3:00 PM

Javits Conventions Center - Stage 4, Booth 2276, Exhibit Hall
Parts washers provide efficient cleaning of various materials and components utilized in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing process industries, such as glassware, filling line components, filter housings, hoses and many other miscellaneous parts. If the cleaning cycle development is not performed correctly, it may pose significant challenges such as ineffective cleaning later during production. This will result in production downtime and consume resources and time to perform investigation. This presentation looks at the development of a robust cleaning cycle for a parts washer. This will include the various steps involved in understanding the type of soils, defining load pattern, selecting suitable cleaning agent, optimizing cleaning parameters, and performing cycle development studies. Common challenges encountered during the cleaning cycle development will also be discussed.
