Jennifer Chu, Ph.D.

Jennifer Chu is a pharmaceutical development professional with over 20 years of experience in formulation development and manufacturing. Throughout her career, she has worked on small molecule, large molecule, and device development within the pharmaceutical industry. Jennifer has worked at both large (Pfizer) and small (Neurogen, Ikaria, and Achillion) innovator companies and has experience working at and with contract research and development manufacturing organizations. She has experience throughout the development process from Discovery support, through all clinical phases, and post-approval changes. She was Chair of the AAPS NorthEast Regional Discussion Group (NERDG) in 2021 and has been part of the AAPS Manufacturing Science and Engineering (MSE) Community leadership since 2022. Jennifer received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University performing research on polymer science.
