Carl Allenspach is a seasoned professional with 26 years of experience in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing. He currently heads the Business Operations group and acts as ‘chief of staff’ for the Manufacturing Science and Technology organization at Bristol Myers Squibb covering small molecules and biologics. He has directly contributed to the early and late stage development, clinical supplies, tech transfer, manufacturing support, and global filings of over 45 compounds in his previous roles at Pfizer, Novartis, and BMS. Carl is a prominent member at AAPS and has chaired several committees since his initial involvement in 2004. Currently, he is serving as the Programming Chair for Interphex and in the community leadership for Manufacturing Science and Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science from Rutgers University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Roosevelt University.
