PDA Announces New Learning Center Featuring Technical Education Program at INTERPHEX 2015

Industry experts will present the latest on key topics in manufacturing, focusing on issues related to aging facilities. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, 9:00am - 11:00am: “Continuous Manufacturing for an Aging Facility”                                   
This session will provide attendees with examples of how a continuous manufacturing process can make a pharmaceutical facility more efficient as well as provide views from the US FDA followed by a case study on how upgrading two existing Lyos with RABS, Formatting Tables Transfer Carts, and ALUS (Automatic Loading & Unloading Systems) led to improved efficiency and reduced operators.

 “Aging Facilities,what does it mean? Is it simply a matter of age, lack of maintenance and/or technology? Or is it a combination of all of these? This session will provide an overview of aging and modernization as well as provide participants with a summary of the Readout Reports from the 2015 PDA Aging Facilities Workshop.
