Pharma & Biotech SIG Launches OEM Certification SubTeam
Benefits & Interests of Certification will be Topic Explored During INTERPHEX
On Wednesday, April 3, 2013, The Pharma & Biotech SIG approved a new SubTeam.The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Certification SubTeam will explore the benefits and interest of Pharma & Biotech Companies (Buyers), Engineering Design Firms, OEM's and SMRPCO to establish an Asset (OEM) Reliability Certification, like the Underwriter's Lab for Reliability.The objective is to proactively design out failure modes using Reliability Centered Design principles, meet Regulatory Requirements, prepare a Reliability Centered Maintenance Program and achieve criteria to proactively improve upon Training, Commissioning and Validation while reducing the Speed to Market.Speed to Market is an important factor to expedite bringing new Products to Market in the time sensitive Pharma & Biotech Industry.
Opportunities for further collaborations will be explored at INTERPHEX where Booth #1477 has been established for the Pharma & Biotech SIG during all three days of the Conference.
Conference Room 2D09 has been provided to hold information sessions where interests and ideas will be explored with all Stakeholders.
Meetings will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd at 10:30 & 11:30 AM and 3:00 PM and again on Wednesday, April 24th at 10:30 & 11:30 AM and 1:30 & 3:00 PM.
