- Housed in a 53’ Trailer, this Fully-Functional cGMP Cleanroom is Optimal for a Range of Bioproduction Needs-
NEW YORK, NY; February 9, 2017 – International Pharmaceutical Expo (INTERPHEX), the premier event dedicated to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and device innovation, technology and knowledge from development through commercialization, today announced Germfree, a leading supplier of controlled aseptic environments as well as containment and safety solutions covering the life science spectrum, will feature its mobile adaptive bioproduction suite in booth 3961 at INTERPHEX, taking place March 21-23, 2017 at the Javits Center in New York, New York.
“INTERPHEX offers the ideal platform to demonstrate technologies that represent the future of pharmaceutical and biologics development and production,” said Melissa Ashley, Senior Vice President, INTERPHEX. “We are delighted that Germfree will exhibit a mobile adaptive bioproduction suite for attendees to walk through and experience solutions that maximize onsite space and offer personnel safety and containment control in a self-contained platform right on the show floor.”
This innovative platform is optimal for a wide range of biopharmaceutical production needs, including monoclonal antibodies, therapeutic proteins, viral vector and live virus vaccines. Adaptive trailers offer flexible cleanroom space that is easily configured to required ISO grades as well as biological safety levels up to Biosafety Level (BSL)-3. The units are customized to meet each client’s production and validation requirements, including gas/vapor bio-decontamination. Mobile suites provide a unique solution for rapid deployment where budget, facility and timeline limitations constrain manufacturing and R&D innovation. This new approach offers an adaptive platform ideally suited to adjust for emerging biopharmaceutical processes as it utilizes Germfree’s interchangeable casework and laminar flow equipment. Multiple trailers can be joined for future expansion.
“The biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industry is under intense pressure to adapt production processes and facilities to meet the needs of rapid innovation and flexible manufacturing environments. The Germfree team is looking forward to welcoming attendees to booth 3961 for additional discussion regarding their bioproduction, biocontainment and flexible cleanroom needs,” said Jeff Serle, Senior Vice President, Germfree. “We look forward to seeing you there”.
